Frozen Rails 2010 planning has begun
We’ve recently begun planning what we believe will be the very first international Rails conference ever held in Finland. It’s been named Frozen Rails, and we’re currently in the very preliminary stages of planning, but here’s what we already know:
- As already stated, it will be known as Frozen Rails
- It will be held in May 2010
- We will be looking for several well respected speakers from the international Rails community (including core developers & contributors)
- We are currently looking for sponsors for the event
- It will be closely modelled after the Dutch Ruby En Rails conference
- It will be held in the auditorium on the Haaga-Helia Pasila campus
- You can signup for further updates at frozenrails.eu
And here’s some of the things that we don’t yet know:
- How much tickets will cost, or whether they’ll be free
- Precisely who the keynote speakers will be
- The precise date of the event
If you think you’d like to help with the event, or have some ideas, we’d love to hear from you.
We're now on LinkedIn
Yes, we now have a group on LinkedIn.
You are welcome to join the group (I’m not sure what the benefit is, thought I don’t see any harm either…) as it is open access.
